Our Goals

Revival School is driven by a passion to see immigrant and refugee students' lives changed, and through them, the City of St. Louis changed as well. Everything we do is driven by four goals:

There are many tensions and misunderstandings between diverse ethnic groups in the neighborhoods of St. Louis.  Refugees who are resettled here also come with generational prejudices from tribal conflicts back home.  Revival School provides opportunities for students and teachers from these diverse ethnic groups to eat meals, create and play music together, which is breaking down walls of prejudice.  We provide spiritual mentoring to guide students toward reconciled relationships with God and with their neighbor, inspiring them to become peacemakers in their community.

"In a real sense, all life is interrelated.  All men are caught in an inescapable network of mutuality, tied in a single garment of destiny...  I can never be what I ought to be until you are what you ought to be, and you can never be what you ought to be until I am what I ought to be..."
